PRIVACY POLICY & PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

Quipux Afrique SA attaches paramount importance to protecting the privacy and personal data of its users. This policy describes how we collect, use, share, and secure your data in compliance with Law No. 2013-450 on personal data protection in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

1. COOKIE MANAGEMENT POLICY

When consulting our website www.quipuxafrique.com, cookies (temporary text files) may be installed on your browsing terminal to facilitate your experience. The validity or registration duration of these cookies is a maximum of 3 months.

Purposes of Issued Cookies:

  • Transport information (SGI/ITS): Information captured during vehicle travel across the national territory (license plate, traffic offenses).
  • Technical and location data: Geolocation to identify the nearest CGI center, IP address, and site usage data.

Purposes for which Data is Used:

  • Customer management, enrollment requests, production, and issuance of road transport documents.
  • Operation of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and securing road traffic.
  • Compliance with legal, regulatory (anti-fraud, anti-money laundering) and administrative obligations.
  • Securing logical and physical access to our premises and platforms.

3. DATA SECURITY, SHARING, AND RETENTION

Quipux Afrique strictly prohibits the sale, rental, or transfer of your personal data under any form to third parties.

Data Sharing:

Access to data is restricted to authorized agents of Quipux Afrique and the Ministry of Transport. For video-verbalization and road checks, law enforcement has access to necessary ITS data.

Security Measures:

We implement technical (encryption, restricted access) and organizational security measures to protect your data from destruction, loss, or unauthorized access. When subcontractors are involved, standard contractual clauses approved by the Regulator (ARTCI) are imposed.

Retention Period:

Data is retained for the period set by the Ministry of Transport or for the time necessary to execute administrative purposes, and in any event within active legal limits.

4. YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES

In accordance with regulations, you have the right to information, access, rectification, opposition, deletion, portability, and refusal of profiling for your data.
